Description
- DAI seeks professional consulting services on a short-term basis in regards to the following:
Jatropha Production and Product Transformation Specialist - Haiti: Consultant(s) will be required to work as part of an analytical team with other international donor-funded experts investigating the existing and potential jatropha production systems, jatropha post-harvest processing, especially of cake for feed and of oils for biofuels, and the market for jatropha seed and products, as well as a review of existing processing capacity for internal or export markets.
Requirements: - Demonstrated previous experience in working in jatropha and the biofuels industry in a developing country context.
- Knowledge of international markets and processing technologies relative to jatropha is essential.
- Work will be performed in Haiti and both international and in-country travel is required.
The reporting environment is English but a fluency in French and/or Haitian Creole is required.
